Does samsung galaxy s3 mini have a memory card slot

Samsung I8190 Galaxy S III mini

Samsung tends to produce rather good phone cameras, but we do not doubt that the S3 Mini will be thoroughly outpaced by its big brother. As if to demonstrate this, the Mini edition is only capable of capturing video up to p in resolution, while the earlier S3 can snag p video. Like the great grandfather of the series, the new Mini features a mAh unit. Unlike other sites, we thoroughly review everything we recommend, using industry standard tests to evaluate products.

Samsung S3 mini - move Apps to SD card -

Here he test and reviews some of newest mobile, audio and camera d…. Sign up for the Trusted Reviews Newsletter. I've done it previously on a Samsung Tablet, without problem - although I know some Apps can't be moved. I've looked at the online Samsung manual and it tells me how to install the SD card but not how to move Apps to it.

I've also searched online and found various YouTube Videos - but they all seem to show menu choices I haven't got or need the phone to be "rooted" and I've no idea what that even means but it sounds a bit advanced for me! So - please can someone help. Surely Samsung wouldn't leave a slot for SD card or give instructions for installing if it couldn't be used?!

Thank you. No, you don't want to root your phone unless you really know what you are doing. Cheers Gerry. However, I have installed the App mentioned and when I try to do anything I get a message "This device doesn't enable users moving apps to the SD card. Usually, it's because of the manufacture removes the function of moving apps to SD from Android, or a SD card is not inserted" I know that the SD card is inserted and "found" by the phone - because when I took a photo it asked me if I wanted to save to SD card or Device.

Many thanks. UNIX is basically a simple operating system, but you have to be a genius to understand the simplicity. Do you know any way of moving the Apps without being able to get the 4. It seems silly of Samsung to provide a slot for an SD card but not allow users to actually make use of it! I'd be really grateful for any help.

Samsung Galaxy S III microSD Card Replacement

Is it possible to do anything by connecting the phone to the PC, perhaps? Apps should, ideally be run from the phone memory, not from an SD card. If you need that much space for apps, you bought the wrong phone. But as it still seems to be working and is a convenient size for me physical size that is I'm reluctant to change it.

However, all the Apps seem to be getting bigger and bigger. I haven't actually got that many Apps on it - but there are still some that I'd like to add. I have obviously moved my photos onto the SD card - which has helped. Not being able to move apps to a SD card is not a function only introduced since Android 4. Fairly sure my Samsung S4 was running Android 4.
